The Western Canada Information Security Conference became the annual flagship conference of the ISACA Winnipeg Chapter. A full day at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, attended by 600 to 800 participants through the years. featuring Luncheon Celebrity Keynote Speaker, in addition to 34 Sponsors at the Vendor Village, a breakfast Plenary Session, and 20 Breakout Sessions, closing up with a cocktail reception along with live music.

"I was the Co-Chair of the Western Canada Information Security Conference (WCISC) with Ricardo for the last five years.
Ricardo was the main contact for the vendors negotiating allocation of booth locations, deliveries, times for set up and breakdown of booths, and ensured that speakers from vendors kept presentations as agnostic as possible.
Finally, negotiating the contract with the RBC Conference Center and Encore AV Services with significant savings.
Ricardo also sourced the keynote speaker, and negotiated the speaker's fees, dates, topics, and logistics.
Ricardo also planned the evening social event for attendees to interact, hors d'oeuvres, timeline, and light musical entertainment.
